Angel Olsen
Whispers are in the wind that the new Woodpecker Wooliams / OCDC film-score cassette ‘Anni OST’ is readying itself for release with Chicago’s Love Lion label. I’m really proud of it; hearing it at the film premier in an old Hamburg theater last Autumn was a totally inspiring experience and it will be great to share, especially over the Pond!
First though from Love Lion is a re-pressing of their Angel Olsen cassette, ‘Lady of The Waterpark’. Olsen’s been recording and playing live with Will Oldham most recently and her solo stuff is delicate and fine. Great interview / streamed tracks here @ Octopus Windmill. x
